Brooklyn Jesseph,
LMSW
Brooklyn is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned her masters degree in Social Work from Wichita State University and her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Kansas State University.
Brooklyn has experience working with individuals, families, and groups in multiple settings. She worked in child welfare as a Child Protection Specialist within the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) for 2 years. While earning her masters degree, she worked with teenagers in the foster care system. Brooklyn has experience working with varying issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, abuse and neglect.
Brooklyn especially enjoys working with adolescents and has a passion for helping them navigate life. Brooklyn uses the strengths based approach and the client-centered approach as she believes that each person is valuable, has many strengths, and has their own unique life experience and lens of viewing life. She believes that each person is the expert of their life and wants to empower them to make positive and healthy changes. Brooklyn believes in walking alongside people like Jesus did, with no judgment, instead meeting them where they are with empathy, love, hope, and patience.
In addition to her role as a therapist, Brooklyn enjoys playing with her very ornery dog, Waylon, and taking him on walks. She also enjoys spoiling her niece and nephew, reading books, game nights, being out in nature, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family.
