CJ earned her undergraduate degree in social work from Bethel College, located in North Newton, Kansas. She also has her Master’s degree in social work from Newman University, located in Wichita, Kansas.

Christian therapist, CJ Byler, is passionate about her love for Christ and her love for counseling. Her focus in therapy deals with women of all ages, adolescents and couples regardless the stage of their relationship. CJ truly enjoys working with teens and women on a variety of issues including, but not limited to: self esteem, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, domestic violence, as well as adjustment disorders. CJ hopes to help each individual find their true worth in today’s society. She also specializes in working with couples on building a stronger sense of unity by focusing on more effective communication skills as well as his needs/her needs in the relationship. CJ believes that communication is the key to any successful relationship. She is certified as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker.

CJ strives to help clients see their full potential in therapy by focusing in on each individual’s personal strengths and desires. She aspires to build a lasting relationship with clients by providing kindness, compassion, authenticity, empathy and a desire to meet the client where they are at in this life journey. She looks at therapy through a solution-focused, strength perspective and cognitive behavioral lens.
